SYSK Technology ("SYSK," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit sysktech.com and any related sub‑domains, client portals, mobile applications, or services we operate (collectively, the "Site").

  • on the Site (including the Client Portal);
  • in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and SYSK;
  • when you interact with our advertising and applications on third‑party websites and services that link to this policy; and
  • by any other means where we provide a link to, or otherwise reference, this policy.

It does not cover information collected by third‑party sites or services that do not link to this Policy, or information collected offline unless we expressly incorporate those channels here.

  2. Commercial information – order history, invoices, support tickets, payment status, and records of products or services obtained from us.
  3. Internet or other electronic activity – log files, pages viewed, referring URLs, device and browser types, cookies, and analytics events.
  4. Approximate geolocation – country or region inferred from IP address.
  5. Payment information – last four digits of your payment card, billing address, and transaction identifiers (full card data is processed by our PCI‑DSS–compliant payment provider).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive biometric data, full government identification numbers (except where required for tax or regulatory compliance), or information from children under 13.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • create and maintain your account, authenticate you, and provide the Site and related services;
  • process and manage orders, subscriptions, and invoices;
  • secure our services, investigate fraud, enforce our terms, and protect the rights and safety of SYSK, our users, and the public;
  • respond to your inquiries, support tickets, and feedback;
  • send transactional messages such as order confirmations, password‑reset emails, and service notices;
  • improve, personalize, and develop the Site and our products through analytics, research, and testing;
  • conduct marketing and send newsletters or promotional communications (with opt‑out options where required); and
  • comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

Our legal bases for these activities (where required under laws such as the GDPR) include performance of a contract, our legitimate business interests, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use first‑ and third‑party cookies, web beacons, and local storage to remember your preferences, enable secure log‑in, analyze Site performance, and deliver interest‑based advertisements. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Site may not function properly.

5. How We Share Information

SYSK does not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers that perform services for us, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics. These vendors are contractually obligated to safeguard your data and use it only for the services we request.
  • Business transfers in the context of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, provided that the recipient agrees to protect your data in a manner consistent with this Policy.
  • Legal and safety obligations when required to comply with law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SYSK, our users, or others.
  • With your consent when you authorize us to share information with third‑party integrations or partners.

6. International Data Transfers

SYSK is headquartered in the United States, and your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer data out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions with data‑transfer restrictions, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other legally approved mechanisms.

7. Data Security

We use industry‑standard safeguards, including:

  • encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES‑256);
  • zero‑trust access controls and least‑privilege permissions;
  • bcrypt password hashing and optional two‑factor authentication;
  • regular penetration testing, security assessments, and dependency audits; and
  • 24 × 7 monitoring, intrusion detection, and encrypted backups.

While no system can guarantee absolute security, we strive to protect your information.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary:

  • Account records are kept for the life of your account plus seven years for legal and tax purposes.
  • Support tickets and attachments are stored for three years after closure unless longer retention is required by law.
  • Raw analytics logs are retained for up to 26 months, after which they are deleted or aggregated and anonymized.
  • Marketing opt‑out lists are retained indefinitely so we can honor your request not to contact you.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it according to our retention schedule.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • access or know the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccuracies in your information;
  • request deletion of your information;
  • opt out of certain processing, such as targeted advertising or profiling;
  • receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, where such practices occur; and
  • appeal a refusal to act on your request (Virginia residents).

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us with any concerns. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond within 30 days or the timeframe required by applicable law.

Residents of the EEA or UK can also lodge complaints with their local data‑protection authority.

10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Our Site does not currently respond to browser‑based "Do Not Track" signals. We do, however, honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for California and Virginia residents where legally required.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it.

12. Third‑Party Links

The Site may include links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, if the changes are material, provide prominent notice or email you before they take effect.
